CPBN’s Institute for Advanced Media (IAM) offers US veterans and adult learners courses in photo, video, and design, to prepare them as they transition to new careers. These hands on, experiential courses integrate the experiences of working with CPTV and WNPR media professionals and projects.
Last semester, the IAM design students’ client was Infinity Hall Live’s Fifth Anniversary! The designs the group created were so good, we had to share!
For the next few weeks, we will highlight some of these designs, as well as the US veterans and artists who created them. We are proud to be the first place these new designers are publishing their work. Let’s hear it for our Vets—and their new careers!

Brett Sandman, stationed onboard Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton Connecticut, is a graduate of Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network’s Institute for Advanced Media / Veterans Vocational Training Program. He will transition to civilian life in August after 20 years of Service in The United States Navy.
